Adoa is an adaptation of the word "Ha'do'aał" which means "to sing" in the Western Apache language.
Adoa is an alternative musical project that fuses elements of pop, disco and R & B. It is a creative endeavor by Esteban Torres that started around May and June 2020, from several musical ideas left to work on. The songs that emerge from its initial production are a collection of personal experiences that revolve around love and changes in life.
He has recently planned musical collaborations with other emerging music projects in the region.
My name is Stephanie, I've been playing music for 7 years. My dad taught me how to play basic guitar tones when I was 14 years old, then I practiced my guitar skills playing at my local church. I now write my own songs and record my music from home and from local studios and producers.
My family was always very musically inclined because my parents and siblings had a church band, though I love the church, I was never into church music. I stuck to photography, making videos, and graphic art. I loved Kanye West, Frank Ocean, Kid Cudi, System of a Down, and Metallica. I wrote poems and post them on social media and people would ask "what song is that?". I thought the words were too dark to put in any song but when I heard people like Lil Peep, XXXTentacion, and Juice WRLD, I thought I can make something completely different but still give the same feelings those songs did for me. I saw what they did to me, they inspired me to express myself and create. Now I combine my visual talent with my ability to create music to try to hit all the senses. To put others in my head, one song, one album cover, one music video at a time. All at once. I'm glad I was also able to inspire some close friends to make music of their own, as well as some people who tell me my music helped them cope with feelings they kept to themselves as I did, and to even express it. That's my goal, to inspire.
SheLovesUs is the alias of Hip-Hop artist turned Trapsoul thief Jay Faro. The transition to sad, heartbreaking, soul tugging music stems from toxic, abusive relationships he's been in since he was 16.
